Frequently Asked Questions
Straight Answers, No Runaround Tuition, GED requirements, scholarships, transferring credit, all in one place.
Do I need a GED or high school diploma to enroll?
No. We intentionally work with students who don’t have a diploma or GED. A piece of paper shouldn’t stop you from building a career.
I trained in Mexico under SEP. Can that count toward my program?
In most cases, yes, through credit transfer, admissions equivalency, or full state board reciprocity depending on your situation. See the SEP credit transfer page for the full breakdown.
Can I keep working my current job while in school?
Yes. Every program is built with part-time and full-time schedule tracks for working adults.
How much does each program cost?
Nail Tech is $8,000, Esthetics is $10,000, Hairstyling is $11,500, and Cosmetology is $15,000, all-inclusive with no hidden fees. See the full cost and wage breakdown.
Do you offer FAFSA?
No, we don’t work with federal student loans. Instead we offer flexible in-house payment plans and Affirm financing. See what else is available on our scholarships and funding page.
Is the state board exam fee included in tuition?
No. State board exam and licensing fees are paid directly to Arizona: $177 for your two state board tests and $63 for licensing, renewed every two years.
Is business training actually part of the program, or extra?
It’s built into every program, not an elective. LLC formation, contracts, pricing, marketing, and sales are covered across all four tracks. See the full business curriculum.
I already know the trade, I just need the license. Do I still need to start from zero?
No. If you’re self-taught, school time goes toward the license, sanitation standards, and business side, not relearning what you already know. See our self-taught licensing page.
Is instruction available in Spanish?
Yes, we’re fully bilingual, instruction, materials, and support are available in English and Spanish.
