At Mima’s Beauty College, hands-on training goes far beyond the classroom floor. We believe that learning a trade comes with a responsibility to uplift the community around us. Through local shelter partnerships, back-to-school youth drives, and community wellness events, our students bring dignity, care, and confidence to neighbors who need it most.

Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS)
We partner with CASS to provide essential self-care services, including manicures, facials, and hair styling, for women experiencing homelessness or housing transition. These sessions offer residents a peaceful, welcoming environment to recharge and rebuild self-esteem as they work toward stable futures.
St. Vincent de Paul (Ozanam Manor & City Center)
Our volunteer student teams regularly visit St. Vincent de Paul shelter locations, including Ozanam Manor and the Washington Street shelter. By providing free haircuts and grooming, our students give residents a boost in confidence before job interviews, or simply offer a moment of comfort and care.
Back-to-School Youth Drives & NourishPHX
Every school year, we team up with local community organizations like NourishPHX and Phoenix District 5 initiatives to host free haircut events for kids. Alongside backpack and school supply giveaways, our students make sure local children head into their first day of school feeling confident and proud.
